Motion design, storyboard, infographic animation and visual storytelling for a national sustainability initiative.
This 90-second motion graphics video was created for the opening of the Sustainable Development Forum's Plenary Assembly on March 23, 2026, marking the launch of “Raccogliamo le idee!”, a national call for ideas inviting schools and young people to contribute to Italy's sustainable development strategy.
Starting from the client's brief and script, I developed the entire creative concept and visual narrative, translating institutional messages into a clear, engaging and dynamic visual experience.
From concept development and storyboard design to scene composition, graphic visualization and motion graphics animation, I took care of the project from start to finish. The creative process focused on transforming abstract concepts into accessible visual stories, illustrating how students, researchers and design thinking can work together to shape a more sustainable future.
The animation explores three key themes: engaging primary school students and researchers, collaborating through design thinking, and contributing to the evolution of Italy's National Sustainable Development Strategy and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The visual narrative is built around the transformation of the SDGs logo, which breaks down into graphic elements and comes together again in the final sequence, symbolizing collaboration, shared ideas and collective action.
The result is a short, infographic-driven motion design film that combines graphic design, animation and visual storytelling to communicate the goals of the initiative in a concise and impactful way.
